Kannada Vakkoota leader Vatal Nagraj: Will not let conspiracy of changing Kannada flag succeed at any cost
Bangalore: There is a strong conspiracy being hatched to change our present Kannada flag in the state. We will not allow the conspirators succeed in their intention at any cost, said Kannada Vakkoota leader Vatal Nagraj, during a Kannada Bavuta Sammelana (Kannada Flag Conference) organized at Hotel Woodland, Richmond Circle, Bangalore today.

Vatal appealed to the people of the state to raise for their language and its cultural identity, the Kannada flag and struggle to save it from being changed by the conspirators. He warned the national political parties of strong agitation if they try to be a part of the plot to change the flag.
Addressing the media persons Vatal said, our flag is red and yellow, we will not bend to any ongoing conspiracy in practice towards bringing a change in the flag. He said, in the assembly elections scheduled in the next year, the Kannada flag should raise in all the 224 assembly constituencies across the state and after elections as well, the same flag should raise on the Vidhana Soudha.
Vatal urged to government to embrace the red and yellow flag which has been the identity of the people of Karnataka for almost half a century.
Some of the prominent dignitaries who were present in the conference were S.R [Sara] Govind, Praveen Shetty, Manjunath and others.
